What Is The One Method? Five Daily Practices
The One Method is a daily practice built around five principles: HONOR, BREATH, MIND, TRAIN, and NUTRITION. Each belongs in the same day. You do not need a particular job, body type, training level, or perfect schedule to begin. Skin care sits alongside these practices as one way to care for the body you live in.
What are the five daily principles?
HONOR means treating your commitments to yourself with care. Choose a standard you can keep, notice when it needs to change, and return to it without turning one missed day into failure.
BREATH means taking a brief, intentional pause. A few comfortable, unforced breaths can be a cue to slow down before a meeting, a workout, or the rest of your day.
MIND means making room for attention. Meditation, reflection, or a quiet check-in can help you notice what is happening before deciding what to do next.
TRAIN means movement that suits your body and circumstances. That may be a planned workout, a walk, mobility work, or another form of physical activity. The goal is a repeatable practice, not a particular physique.
NUTRITION means making thoughtful choices about how you fuel yourself. Start with a meal pattern that fits your needs and access to food. It does not require a supplement, a drug, or an extreme diet.
How do you practice all five in one day?
Start with the day you actually have. In the morning, choose one realistic action for each principle. You might pause to breathe, take a few minutes to reflect, decide when you will move, and plan one meal. HONOR can be the choice to make those actions visible and adjust them when life changes.
Your TRAIN practice may happen before work, after work, at a gym, or somewhere else. Follow your skincare products' directions around morning, evening, and post-sweat care. The One Set is a four-product skincare system within the wider I AM story; you can learn and practice The One Method without buying it. If you are evaluating the set, look at each product's role, ingredient list, directions, and current offer on its product page.
What does the research support?
The One Method brings five daily practices into one structure. For BREATH, a 2023 randomized study compared five minutes of daily breathwork with mindfulness meditation over one month. The exhale-focused breathing group reported a greater improvement in mood and had a lower respiratory rate. The source links below offer further reading on meditation, physical activity, and nutrition. Choose actions you can repeat and use the daily calendar to see how they fit together.
At the end of the day, ask: Which principles did I practice? What fit my schedule? What should move to a better time tomorrow? Keep what works. Change what does not. A standard is something you can return to.
